We're around 10 minutes from Chesterfield by car. The event is at Riverside Farm in Barlow, not in Chesterfield town centre. Use Furnace Lane, Barlow, S18 7SY to plan your journey, and allow extra time for traffic. Parking on the farm is free.

A local half-term outing
Choose a date on 17–18 or 24–31 October 2026, then an arrival time. Most families spend around two to three hours here. Pre-booking guarantees your slot; walk-ups are only possible if space allows.
Children aged 2–12: £15, including activities and a pumpkin to carve or take home. Adults and over-12s: £7, including a hot drink or pumpkin.
What does the £15 child ticket include?
Children aged 2–12 get the Ghoul Hunt, adventure trailer ride, Witch Hazel's stories and trick or treat, meeting Max and Paddy, fancy dress fun and a pumpkin to carve or take home. Lambs are part of the day, not a paid extra.
Please leave dogs at home for this event. Max and Paddy, our Valais Blacknose lambs, are part of the day.
